Strategy's Nov. 2 filing added $208.2 million in repurchases of its Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock (STRC) for the week ended Nov. 1, taking the reported total to about $2.25 billion.
The company bought 2,092,035 shares during the week and used USD Cash to fund the repurchases, according to the filing. It reported no STRC sales through its at-the-market offering program during the period. As of Nov. 1, Strategy had $17,510.8 million in available capacity to issue and sell STRC. That figure is issuance capacity, separate from the amount used for the week's purchases.
The estimated cumulative total combines about $2.04 billion Strategy reported through Oct. 25 with the $208.2 million disclosed for the following week. The earlier figure included repurchases that had not settled as of Oct. 25, so the combined amount is approximate. EconoTimes previously covered Strategy's reported buybacks through Oct. 25.
The filing separately showed $748.6 million remaining under Strategy's digital credit securities repurchase program. That balance is distinct from the $17.51 billion in STRC issuance capacity: one concerns repurchases under a separate program, while the other covers the ability to issue and sell STRC.
An Oct. 15 filing conditionally announced a 12% annualized dividend rate for STRC in November. Strategy's Oct. 29 results release confirmed that it kept the rate at 12%. The company cited its stated aim for STRC to trade around $100 when explaining the decision. Strategy has described its long-term trading objective for STRC as about $99 to $100, while saying it cannot guarantee a particular market price.
