Strong NFP results lead Asian markets higher, gold rises 1 pct to $1,374

All the major Asian markets are trading on the higher note Monday. U.S. gold futures rise 1 pct to $1,374 and Silver remains well supported above $20.50 marks.

US non-farm payrolls printed a strong data at 287,000 for June, up sharply from the previous month's release revised down at 11,000.

Japan’s Nikkei N225 was trading 3.97% higher at 15,706.40 points in Tokyo.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 1.21% higher at 1,986.17 points.

Shanghai composite index to open up 0.2 pct at 2,993.75 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 0.2 pct at 3,199.04 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 1.62% higher at 20,897.15 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 1.69% higher at 5,318.80 points.
