MANALAPAN, N.J, Dec. 01, 2017 -- Street Smart Outdoor Corp a wholly owned subsidiary of Manalapan based Sun Pacific Holding Corp. (OTCQB:SNPW) is now projecting $63 million in revenue from its signed contract with the (Tallahassee, FL.) Star Metro Transportation Authority to manage advertising space on more than 1000 bus shelters and benches
“This contract further establishes Sun Pacific and its Street Smart subsidiary as a regional leader in outdoor advertising” said Sun Pacific CEO Nicholas Campanella. “We worked hard to show Star Metro Transportation Authority how our smart kiosks will provide users with a unique and state of the art experience.”
With nearly 500 shelters combined with 500 additional benches the company is expected to realize revenue exceeding $6.3 million per year. The agreement is for 10 years.
The U.S. Transportation Research Board has reported that nearly $1 billion is spent annually on advertising in public transit facilities and vehicles. This includes nearly $400 million spent on bus shelters and benches. “Increased technology including the use of audio and interactivity is increasing engagement and targeting, providing robust growth in the sector” added Campanella. “This is a big focus for us as the world continues to move away from print media and into the digital age. Sun Pacific is ideally positioned going forward.” Sun Pacific also announced earlier this week it was initiating its Sun Pacific Power subsidiary’s contract with the state of Rhode Island, beginning the installation and maintenance of Solar Powered Bus Shelters and Transit Amenities at hundreds of locations across Rhode Island.
