XRP traded near $1.30 Sunday as Bitcoin (BTC) dominance stood at 59.5% in a 24-hour snapshot that showed the total crypto market value fell 2.75%.

Bitcoin gained 0.31% to $81,801, while XRP fell 0.92% to $1.30. The market's total value was $2.76 trillion in the reading, which ended at 1 a.m. ET (05:00 UTC) Sunday, Oct. 18. The figures also appeared in an earlier EconoTimes market snapshot.

Bitcoin dominance is Bitcoin's portion of the combined crypto market value. The ratio can rise when other tokens lose value faster than Bitcoin, so the 59.5% reading shows relative market weight and does not establish a price gain for Bitcoin.

Chart analysis places the $1.30-$1.32 band in focus. A hold at that band is linked to $1.39, while a move out of the descending channel is tied to $1.87. If the band fails and weakness persists, the analysis points to $1.16. Separately, another setup maps XRP between $1.30 and $1.60 and treats $1.24-$1.20 as a potential lower zone.

The report describes the breakout as a scenario and records no confirmation.
