Sunoco LP expects 2026 adjusted EBITDA to exceed $3.7 billion, the top of its previous range, after third-quarter net income increased from a year earlier, according to the partnership’s results announcement.
The partnership had previously forecast adjusted EBITDA of $3.5 billion to $3.7 billion for 2026. Its new expectation is above that range’s ceiling. Adjusted EBITDA stands for earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization; the company presents it as an adjusted, non-GAAP measure. The guidance covers 2026, while the net income figures reflect the third quarter.
Net income rose to $499 million from $137 million in the year-earlier quarter. Revenue reached $18.029 billion, compared with $6.032 billion. Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was $1.049 billion, up from $489 million. Distributable Cash Flow, as adjusted, was $588 million, against $326 million a year earlier.
The results were included in Exhibit 99.1 to a Form 8-K filed Nov. 3 by SunocoCorp LLC. The Securities and Exchange Commission filing index identifies SunocoCorp as the filer and lists the exhibit among the filing’s documents. SunocoCorp owns a limited partner interest in Sunoco LP and consolidates its results. It separately reported $81 million in net income attributable to members and $52 million in distributable cash flow attributable to common unitholders.
Sunoco LP attributed the main increase in fuel distribution volumes to its Parkland acquisition. Fuel Distribution Segment Adjusted EBITDA rose to $523 million from $232 million. Pipeline Systems Segment Adjusted EBITDA fell to $166 million from $182 million, leaving the two reported segments moving in different directions as partnership-wide adjusted EBITDA increased.
The companies had declared a third-quarter distribution of $1.0148 per unit, payable Nov. 19 to unitholders of record Nov. 6. Sunoco LP had scheduled an earnings call for Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 10 a.m. ET.
