Super Micro Computer, Inc. expects $18.5 billion to $19.5 billion in revenue for the first quarter of fiscal 2027, ended Sept. 30, 2026, citing demand for artificial intelligence platforms.

The server maker had previously guided for quarterly revenue of $14.5 billion to $15.5 billion. Its new range is a preliminary estimate, which the company disclosed in an announcement furnished with an SEC filing on Oct. 20.

Super Micro also estimates a gross margin of 12.0% to 12.5%, above its earlier guidance of 10.4% to 10.8%. The company attributed the higher margin estimate to its mix of customers and products.

Super Micro shares were up 11.3% in after-hours trading on Oct. 20 at the time of a Reuters report. The company said its revenue and margin figures have not been audited and may change as it completes its financial statements.

Super Micro has scheduled a call to discuss its fiscal first-quarter results for Nov. 3 at 5 p.m. ET.
