Super Micro Computer is scheduled to discuss its fiscal 2027 first-quarter results on a call Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 5 p.m. ET, after lifting its preliminary sales estimate for the quarter ended Sept. 30.
The company announced updated estimates Oct. 20. Its sales projection now spans $18.5 billion to $19.5 billion. The previous revenue outlook was $14.5 billion to $15.5 billion, so both ends rose by $4 billion. The range remains $1 billion wide. Super Micro cited increased demand for AI platforms in explaining the higher revenue estimate.
The gross-margin projection also moved higher. Super Micro now puts it at 12% to 12.5%, against an earlier estimate of 10.4% to 10.8%. The company linked the estimate to its customer and product mix.
Revenue remains a preliminary, unaudited estimate and may change as Super Micro completes its financial statements. The company is scheduled to discuss the quarter on Nov. 3.
