Episode eight of our beloved superhero ended with lots of twists and turns as Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) tries to stop Astra from further attacking them, who told Kara the truth about her sentence, of which Kara finds difficult to believe. A big revelation also took place on the last episode as Cat (Calista Flockhart) tells Kara about her knowing that she is Supergirl.
And now with the new year comes a new episode for our superhero. The wait was thankfully not that long as the midseason premier of Supergirl will be aired this 4th of January. It will be directed by Steve Shill and written by Ted Sullivan and Derek Simon.
The episode entitled 'Blood Bonds' is packed with many exciting surprises as we welcome new characters on screen. Jeremy Jordans is set to join the cast as Winslow Schoot or "Toyman" and adding to the list is Italia Ricci who will play as the villain ''Silver Banshee''.
Here is a sneak peek to what is in store for us for the upcoming episode.
The trailer shows Kara still denying her true identity to his boss Cat who keeps on accusing her of being Supergirl. We also got to see action as Supergirl gets into a fight with Non (Chris Vance) which almost resulted to them getting hit by a plane midair.
Let us all find out what happens next as 'Supergirl' episode 9 premiers this January 9 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
