Five civilians, including women and children, were reported killed in Jordanian airstrikes in Daraa province, southern Syria, Anadolu Agency said Monday, citing Syrian state media.
The report identified the source as the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
Jordan’s armed forces said the strikes were a response to an attack on church mourners in Jordan last week. Anadolu Agency reported that nine people were killed in that attack.
