T-Mobile plans to launch T-Mix in November, giving customers a set number of Picks to use toward selected subscription, wireless and device benefits, with one-line prices starting at $55 per month. The company announced the plans on Oct. 26 but did not give a specific start date.
The tiers are priced at $55, $75 and $95 per month for Standard, More and Loaded, respectively; they include one, two and three Picks. The prices require AutoPay and exclude taxes and fees.
T-Mobile named subscription choices including Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, DashPass by DoorDash, Pandora, SiriusXM, Apple Music, ESPN Unlimited, Delta SkyMiles, Google Gemini, Paramount+, Xbox Game Pass and YouTube Premium. Picks can also go toward T-Satellite, Optimized Video Calls and device promotions. The announcement does not state how many Picks each benefit requires.
Customers can change partner selections during three quarterly windows and an annual “Remix” window, T-Mobile said. The terms vary by benefit: T-Satellite can be changed anytime, while Picks assigned to device promotions remain committed for the promotion period. A fee may apply if a customer changes a partner benefit outside a designated window.
T-Mobile framed T-Mix as a response to fixed plan bundles that can leave customers paying for unused services. The company says customers change plans about once every six years on average. Chief Marketing Officer Allan Samson said, “84% of consumers surveyed want more control over what they pay for.”
The company also plans discounted T-Mix prices for people 55 and older, military members and veterans, first responders, and college students. It has not disclosed those prices. The November launch is the next stated step, with no specific date announced.
