TAO Network, the smart contract DAO platform for creating and operating decentralized application, has announced that it has raised $100,000 in public crowdfunding that allows the platform to pursue its development of blockchain solution for the music industry.
According to the official release, the blockchain-based solutions created by the TAO Network platform are applicable to the whole music industry without favoritism towards any single artist, record label or publishing house.
“Something like the Tao Network that strives to be a public utility…would be very advantageous.” Dale “D-Wiz” Everingham, TAO advisor who is associated with likes of Mazzy Star, EnVogue, Destiny’s Child etc. said.
Also, other leading personalities from the music industry have expressed their support to TAO Network and its solutions. The crowdsale of TAO tokens ended on August 28, 2016.
With the resources from the crowdfunding and partnerships with music industry, TAO Network aims to provide solutions to the problems plaguing the music industry business for more than sixty years.
The platform last month announced the crowdsale of its cryptocurrency tokens and mentioned that more than 30 million tokens were available for the month-long crowdsale.
