In a Nov. 2 post, dethective described routes used by some Binance theft-linked assets across DeFi services and cross-chain bridges. The analysis also recorded a sharp increase in THORChain’s daily revenue.

Against an October daily baseline, THORChain recorded the analysis’s largest reported gain: 2,229%. The comparison put Relay’s daily revenue 1,954% above its baseline.

According to dethective, larger ETH and BTC balances associated with the incident showed little change.

Earlier EconoTimes coverage compared estimates of the theft’s scale: Chainalysis put it at about $5.912 billion, TRM Labs counted roughly $6.36 billion in transfers, and Binance estimated an impact of about $6.3 billion, according to EconoTimes’ comparison of the estimates.

In separate reporting, Chainalysis tracked Binance-linked funds through Tron-based DeFi services, including swaps from TRX into stablecoins before deposits into protocols. EconoTimes covered Chainalysis’ tracking of those funds.
