Taco Bell to Launch Highly Anticipated Mountain Dew Baja Blast Gelato Nationwide This Summer
Fans of Taco Bell are eagerly anticipating the introduction of a unique summer delicacy that will be on the menu sometime this summer, per Yahoo Finance.
Last summer, Taco Bell in Irvine, California, conducted a brief trial of its Mountain Dew Baja Blast Gelato, a dessert inspired by Mountain Dew's beloved Baja Blast flavor.
Even though culinary influencers at the time predicted that the gelato would remain in the testing phase for an estimated two or three weeks, the treat was sold out within a matter of days, suggesting that the test menu item was well-received and that customers were enthusiastic about it.
A year later, customers still fondly remember the special treat and anxiously anticipate its nationwide rollout.
Taco Bell Announces Nationwide Rollout of Mountain Dew Baja Blast Gelato, Fans Eagerly Await Release
At a Live Mas Live event earlier this year, Taco Bell announced that it would introduce the Mountain Dew Baja Blast Gelato to its menus throughout the United States for a limited time, commencing after this summer. The particular summer delight is still on its way, according to an Instagram post by Snackolator on July 4, even though a specific rollout date has yet to be announced.
The food blogger stated in the post that they already had the opportunity to sample the unique gelato flavor and found it "great."
In their concise review, Snackolator stated that the gelato "had the Baja Blast flavor and was just pure fun, making it the perfect summer release."
The new menu item's release date was the subject of demand from fans who left comments on the post.
“This should’ve been out.. summer bout over 😂😂😂,” one fan wrote.
“Why at the end of summer?!?” another fan wanted to know.
“Can’t wait!! I’ll take a freezer full! Lol,” one Instagram user commented.
Although a few Taco Bell enthusiasts expressed their enthusiasm for adding other summer delights to the national menu, the majority expressed their eagerness to sample the Baja Blast gelato flavor upon its arrival in stores.
I cannot wait to try it!!!! Ahhhhhhh,” one person wrote as another agreed it “sounds so good.”
“I need it!!!” one Instagram user commented while another said they hoped that.
Following the gelato's availability, Taco Bell will be capable of maintaining adequate supply levels.
