Bloomberg reported that a New Taipei District Court ruling it reviewed authorized Taiwan’s communications regulator and internet domain registry to restrict local access to Coinbase and Kalshi.

The authorization covers both websites in Taiwan. Kalshi operates a prediction-market platform, while Coinbase’s inclusion broadens the restrictions beyond that category.

Access to Polymarket was already blocked in Taiwan. The court’s authorization gives the communications regulator and domain registry roles in restricting access to the two websites.
