A second day of losses left Taiwan shares at 46,292.93 Tuesday, while turnover declined from the previous session, according to a closing report from Central News Agency.

Shares fell 529.15 points, or 1.13%, on turnover of NT$758.68 billion ($23.35 billion), the agency reported. Monday’s decline was smaller: Shares fell 0.61% to 46,822.08, with turnover of NT$825.10 billion.

The two closing reports show both a steeper share decline and lower turnover Tuesday. Neither report identifies an index or gives a reason for the losses.
