Dover, DE, Sept. 28, 2017 -- Talentegy, the next generation analytics platform designed to help HR teams optimize candidate and employee experience, today shared the recent appointment of a third member to its Board of Directors, John Vlastelica. In addition, Talentegy was proud to announce its sponsorship of the Talent Board and their upcoming 2017 North American CandE Symposium and Awards Gala taking place in Nashville on October 2nd.
The CandEs bring together hundreds of recruiting and HR leaders to not only celebrate the winning employers but to learn and evangelize the importance of candidate experience inside their companies. Talentegy’s platform is specifically designed to support these types of talent initiatives. Talentegy allows organizations to monitor and optimize candidate experience across a very complex and layered HR technology stack to bring actionable insights that drive positive interactions across the candidate journey.
“As an HR technology startup, we must be focused on where we have an audience that values candidate experience as much as we do,” said Shawna Berthold, Co-founder and EVP of Marketing & Operations. “That is the case with the Talent Board and CandE Awards which continue to put the spotlight on the impacts of candidate experience to a company’s bottom line.”
Talentegy’s platform must also be in touch with what Recruiting Leaders are challenged with solving every day. The recent addition of John Vlastelica to its Advisory Board will bring a practitioner focused mindset to help shape the Company’s product roadmap.
John is the Founder & Managing Director of Recruiting Toolbox. He spent the first half of his career as a corporate recruiting leader with companies like Amazon and Expedia, and the last dozen years leading a consulting and training firm, Recruiting Toolbox, which focuses on helping companies optimize their recruiting functions, raise the bar on talent, elevate recruiters to Talent Advisors and improve Hiring Manager capabilities. John’s passion for talent acquisition is also shared as an instructor for recruiting leadership labs, as an author of popular white papers and guides, and as a speaker at conferences around the globe.
“Very few of us in the talent space really understand the behaviors of our applicants and candidates. I’m really excited about the diagnostic tools and insights Talentegy provides, as it’ll certainly lead to improvements in candidate experience and conversion,” says Vlastelica. “The Talentegy team is shining a light on this problem, and offering actionable insights to help busy HR leaders resolve the things that impact the top of their funnel.”
“I’m delighted to welcome John to our Advisory team at Talentegy,” said Dwaine Maltais, CEO and Chairman of the Board at Talentegy. “John has walked in our customer’s shoes and brings a truly rich perspective from the talent management practitioner’s point of view. I am confident he will help guide Talentegy forward in realizing our vision to become the industry leader in talent user experience analytics.”
Vlastelica joins other industry pioneers on the Talentegy Advisory Board, including William Tincup from Recruiting Daily and Scott Smith, Founder and former CEO of Qualtrics.
