Talon’s 2017 growth was due to several factors:
• YoY growth 150% in Talon FAST™ business
• Key partnership with NetApp, which allows the extended value of the NTAP data fabric to distributed enterprises leveraging Talon FASTä.
• Customers: Talon continued to develop its customer base. Big wins in 2017 included Sweco, Arup, Simpson StrongTie, Cochram, United Technologies, JD Power Associates, Cope Health, SwissRE, and BorgWarner.
• Growth: 60% growth Y-o-Y in sites that have deployed Talon FAST™ software globally.
• This represents one of the strongest install bases in the market.
- 30% percent of EMEA revenue came from new customers.
- 40% growth of Americas revenue came from new customers.
• Products: Talon to GA release FAST™ version 5.0 in Q2 2018
- This major release will introduce significant FAST™ updates allowing enterprises to manage consolidated and centralized storage more efficiently through various data modes.
• Channel: Talon’s Channel Program continues to focus on the software defined storage market, storage services enablement and consolidation.
- A revamp program allows Talon’s channel to benefit from above industry standard margin, and annual recurring subscription renewals.
