EDISON, N.J., March 12, 2018 -- TechDemocracy today announced it’s received two significant certifications from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), for the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standards. Both certifications are provided to firms who have been independently assessed and met or exceeded requirements for maintaining quality management systems and information security management systems, respectively.
The ISO 9001:2015 certification signifies that a company has shown it has demonstrated the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. The ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification denotes a company has met the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system and has properly assessed and dealt with the treatment of information security risks based on the organization’s needs.
The certification requirements mirror the core set of services and solutions TechDemocracy provides its clients around the world as they help them continually assess and understand their enterprise risk posture. The company’s Intellicta platform evaluates and measures in-depth the effectiveness of an enterprise’s cybersecurity, governance, risk and compliance programs.
“This is a testament to our global team and relentless pursuit of ensuring our offerings deliver the greatest value to companies to properly assess the risks they face,” said Gautam Dev, global managing principal and CRSG founding leader, TechDemocracy, LLC. “As companies make investments in new tools to quantify those risks, they need to be assured their providers have gone above and beyond what’s expected to maintain these tools’ quality and compliance.”
