Forbes, in conjunction with Statista, collects the data to compile two annual lists: one for professional search firms that specialize in permanent placement of professional and specialist positions earning up to $100,000 annually, and one for executive search firms that specialize in permanent placement of executive positions with at an annual income of a $100,000+. The rankings are based on survey feedback from 18,000 external recruiters, 3,000 candidates and employees with recruitment firm experience, and 500 HR managers that have been clients of recruitment firms.
