Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories shares moved above a technical resistance level cited by The Economic Times during Indian trading Monday, with other market feeds also placing the stock near ₹1,267.

At 12:15 a.m. ET Monday, Oct. 26 (04:15 UTC), The Economic Times liveblog listed the shares at ₹1,267.70, above its second resistance level of ₹1,266.90. The liveblog did not explain how it calculated that level.

5paisa listed the stock at ₹1,260 at 11:39 p.m. ET Sunday, Oct. 25, up 2.48%. Investing.com showed ₹1,267.10 at 12:03 a.m. ET Monday (04:03 UTC), up 3.06%. The quotes were captured at different times.

The price snapshots came three days after Dr. Reddy’s announced second-quarter fiscal 2027 results on Oct. 23 for the quarter ended Sept. 30. Under International Financial Reporting Standards, revenue was ₹86.708 billion, down 1.5% year over year but up 7.4% from the previous quarter. Profit after tax attributable to equity holders fell 36% year over year to ₹9.25 billion.

The company reported uneven results across regions. North American revenue fell 23% year over year to ₹24.89 billion, a decline Dr. Reddy’s attributed primarily to lower lenalidomide sales. India revenue grew 17% year over year to ₹18.508 billion, while Emerging Markets revenue rose 24% to ₹20.595 billion. The company attributed India’s growth to new brands, price increases, volume gains and recently acquired portfolios.

G V Prasad, the company’s co-chairman and managing director, said its base business grew at double-digit rates and EBITDA margin exceeded 20% during the quarter.

The share move follows an earlier decline below the 20-day exponential moving average in EconoTimes’ Oct. 22 coverage, published before the company announced its results.
