‘This Is Us’ season 1’s episode 15, titled “Jack Pearson’s Son,” is set to follow Jack and Rebecca as they go on a Valentine’s Date. However, their plans will go haywire. Meanwhile, Toby and Kate learn each other’s secrets as they struggle in their relationship.
The synopsis for “Jack Pearson’s Son” posted on TV Guide reads, “Kevin (Justin Hartley) stresses about the premiere of his play and receives support from an unexpected source; Randall (Sterling K. Brown) struggles under the pressure of both his work and ailing father; Rebecca (Mandy Moore) and Jack's (Milo Ventimiglia) Valentine's Day doesn't go as planned; and Toby (Chris Sullivan) and Kate (Chrissy Metz) learn each other's secrets.”
The upcoming episode is set to coincide with Valentine’s Day and it could very well be the show’s special. Jack and Rebecca seem to have set some plans for a date but something unexpected may come along and ruin it. However, the twist may strengthen their relationship as this is the very nature of the series.
Mandy Moore gushed over her co-star Milo Ventimiglia during a previous interview with ET. The two play the beloved Pearson matriarch and patriarch, respectively.
Moore said, "He's such a special guy, it's really not hard to have to just love him… I feel very safe. I feel very, like, protected with him… I've never really felt that with somebody I've worked with before, so I feel incredibly lucky every day just to have this job, but then to get to work with him every day, too… I know I'm in good hands."
The preceding episode, titled "I Call Marriage," took viewers back to the day Jack and Rebecca got married at the City Hall. It also followed the divorce of their friends Miguel (Jon Huertas) and Shelly (Wynn Everett).
Toby and Kate don’t seem to be getting much luck on their own relationship either. Kate’s determination in putting focus on her own weight loss has added to the strain of leaving Toby alone in New York. They are about to learn some secrets about each other in the upcoming episode.
‘This Is Us’ season 1’s episode 15, titled “Jack Pearson’s Son,” is scheduled to be released on NBC on February 14, 2017. It will be followed by episode 16, titled "Memphis," is scheduled to air on February 21.
