Truecaller estimated preliminary, unaudited third-quarter sales at SEK 464 million, with growth in Premium and business services offsetting an advertising decline year over year in constant currencies.
The estimate, announced Oct. 19, compares with SEK 467.9 million in the same quarter of 2025. Sales were 1% lower in Swedish kronor but 3% higher after currency adjustments. Compared with the second quarter of 2026, net sales increased 18%.
Advertising revenue was estimated at SEK 245.6 million, down 15% in kronor and 12% in constant currencies from a year earlier. It rose 23% from the previous quarter. Premium revenue climbed 32% year over year to SEK 127.1 million. Truecaller for Business reached SEK 85.1 million, up 6% in kronor and 14% in constant currencies year over year, and 15% from Q2.
CEO Rishit Jhunjhunwala said each of the three revenue lines advanced from the prior quarter, describing the pattern as “positive momentum.” Truecaller said it continued shifting toward its own advertising platform and auction process. It also reported that Business Messaging volumes exceeded year-earlier levels after it moved to a multi-partner model.
The company estimated EBITDA at SEK 147.6 million, excluding non-recurring items tied to the TextPlus acquisition. That was 6% lower year over year in constant currencies and 68% higher than in Q2. Its preliminary EBITDA margin was 31.8%, compared with 34.7% a year earlier. Excluding incentive costs and non-recurring items, the margin was 37.4%, versus 39.8%.
Truecaller’s Q2 report traced some advertising pressure to its largest partner, saying revenue associated with the relationship had been significantly lower since mid-Q3 2025. The company said the partner removed an inventory restriction near the end of Q2 2026.
