The Independent reported that President Donald Trump called for a heckler’s removal at his Oct. 30 Daytona Beach rally, amid multiple protest interruptions at his recent campaign events.

The protester interrupted Trump’s speech minutes after it began at the Ocean Center, the outlet reported. Trump shouted, “Shut up! Shut up, dope.” He later called the man a loser and called for his removal, The Independent reported.

The outlet said the man was escorted from the venue while audience members booed. It did not identify what the protester had shouted.

The Independent put the exchange in the context of other recent campaign events where demonstrators intervened and said Trump’s reactions differed across those episodes. An earlier EconoTimes report covered protesters removed at Trump’s Greenville rally on Oct. 20, when he campaigned for Republican Senate candidate Michael Whatley. The U.S. midterm elections are scheduled for Nov. 3.
