The Independent reported that President Donald Trump, speaking at a Saturday rally in Georgia, said the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool was 90% full and repeated his allegation that vandals had damaged it.
The remarks came during a campaign event for Republican candidates in Perry, Georgia, according to The Independent.
Trump described the pool as never having worked properly and said refilling it would take several more days, the outlet reported.
Trump had put the pool at 70% full in an Oct. 19 Truth Social post, as EconoTimes recounted in its earlier coverage of his 70% estimate. His new estimate is 20 percentage points above that earlier figure.
