The U.K.’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is seeking comments on Send for Help Limited and Peoplesafe Inc.’s planned purchase of SoloProtect Limited, with submissions due Nov. 12 on potential U.K. competition effects.
The CMA’s Oct. 29 case page lists the matter as open and places it in the communications sector. Send for Help Limited and Peoplesafe Inc. are the proposed buyers, and SoloProtect Limited is the target.
The regulator is collecting initial views on possible effects on U.K. competition. It says it has received the information needed from the parties to begin pre-notification.
Formal Phase 1 proceedings have yet to begin, and the CMA says the case page will reflect that step when it occurs. Written submissions about competition issues are due Nov. 12.
