Outflows from Grayscale’s Chainlink fund exceeded inflows to Bitwise’s product on Oct. 16, leaving U.S. spot Chainlink (LINK) exchange-traded funds with a $397,256 net outflow.
Grayscale’s GLNK recorded about $1.96 million in outflows, while Bitwise’s CLNK drew about $1.56 million, as earlier coverage of the fund flows reported. The funds had a $12,157 net inflow on Oct. 15. These figures measure money moving into and out of the funds, not changes in the value of their holdings.
The Chainlink Reserve, meanwhile, acquired 431,900 LINK over 30 days, valued at $5.41 million. Its holdings reached 6.29 million LINK, worth $78.3 million, according to earlier coverage of the reserve.
Chainlink says its Payment Abstraction system uses revenue from enterprise customers and fees from on-chain services to acquire LINK for the reserve. The tokens are held in a smart contract on the Ethereum network. Withdrawals from that contract are delayed for multiple days.
The reserve figure spans 30 days; the ETF outflow covers one trading session. The Oct. 16 result alone cannot show whether the funds had net inflows or outflows across the reserve’s accumulation period.
