The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) calendar gives firms until Nov. 3 at 6 p.m. ET to report equity short positions as of the Oct. 30 settlement date; publication is scheduled for Nov. 10.

Member firms file equity short-interest data twice a month, covering customer accounts and positions held in their own accounts. The filing deadline is 6 p.m. ET two business days after the settlement date.

For the prior cycle, FINRA listed Oct. 15 as the settlement date, with reports due Oct. 19 and publication scheduled for Oct. 26. EconoTimes covered short positions in four U.S.-listed critical-minerals stocks before publication.
