U.S. spot Ether (ETH) exchange-traded funds recorded $1.08 billion in net withdrawals through Oct. 20, their largest monthly outflow so far in 2026, reversing September’s inflows while keeping the year-to-date balance positive.

October’s net withdrawals had more than offset September’s $832 million in net inflows, reducing the funds’ net inflows for 2026 to roughly $485 million. October marked their weakest monthly flow result since November 2025.

The roughly $26 million inflow on Oct. 20 followed a $103.28 million outflow the previous session, covered in EconoTimes’ report.

The positive day did not reverse the monthly balance, which remained a net outflow of about $1.08 billion through Oct. 20. The flow figures describe activity in the funds; Ether’s market price is a separate measure.

October’s tally was not final, with U.S. trading sessions still to come before month-end.
