UK's trade deficit for the month of October is expected by the market consensus to be around GBP 1800 billions.
In September 2015, the trade deficit in goods and services was around GBP1,353 billion, which narrowed from 1.6 billion in August. This is mainly attributed to goods trade, where the deficit declined to 1.4bn GBP from August to September.
"Accordingly, with little change expected in the oil balance, we expect the overall trade deficit to increase to £2100mn", says Societe Generale.
