Anadolu Agency reported Thursday, Oct. 29, that United Nations spokesperson Shirin Yaseen said debris from a nearby Israeli airstrike damaged a warehouse in Khan Younis. Yaseen also called for easier aid access and more funding for Gaza relief.

Yaseen attributed the damage information to humanitarian colleagues. She said the U.N.'s safety and security partners reported that no U.N. staff were injured.

Yaseen urged easing limits on humanitarian deliveries into Gaza and restrictions affecting supplies used in relief operations. She cited specialized equipment, spare parts, engine oil and other supplies, and said reducing the limits would help the U.N. expand its services.

She also asked member states to provide additional funding for aid efforts.
