A potential US-Iran peace deal could be announced this week as international mediators intensify efforts to resolve tensions between Washington and Tehran. The diplomatic developments come as Bitcoin (BTC) trades near $82,500, raising hopes that easing geopolitical risks could help the cryptocurrency recover toward $90,000.

According to Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, negotiators are working to bridge differences between the two countries, with sources suggesting an agreement could emerge within days. However, neither the United States nor Iran has officially confirmed a breakthrough.

Discussions reportedly center on preventing further military conflict, easing economic sanctions, and addressing restrictions affecting the Strait of Hormuz. Iran's nuclear program remains another major obstacle to reaching a comprehensive agreement.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi recently reaffirmed Tehran's willingness to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within seven days, provided Washington meets key conditions. According to Reuters, Iran is seeking relief from oil sanctions, an end to the US blockade, and a halt to regional hostilities.

Meanwhile, Washington continues to demand limits on Iran's nuclear activities, leaving uncertainty over whether negotiations will produce a lasting resolution.

The prospect of a US-Iran ceasefire agreement has attracted attention across global financial markets. Bitcoin recently traded around $82,500, recovering slightly from previous losses as oil prices declined and Chinese economic indicators improved.

Brent crude slipped toward $108 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate hovered near $101. Lower energy prices could ease inflation concerns and improve investor appetite for risk assets, including cryptocurrencies.

Market participants are also watching the November 3 US midterm elections, which could influence economic policy expectations and broader market sentiment.

For Bitcoin price to reach $90,000, BTC would need to climb approximately 9.1% from its current level. A diplomatic breakthrough could provide positive momentum, although sustained buying pressure remains essential.

Crypto analyst Ali Charts highlighted Bitcoin's mixed historical performance following US midterm elections. BTC gained 30.91% in 2010 and 6.61% in 2014 but declined 47.13% in 2018 and 18.15% in 2022.

Meanwhile, Strategy executive chairman Michael Saylor remains optimistic about Bitcoin's outlook, predicting a recovery above $100,000 as institutional adoption strengthens.

Despite growing optimism, Bitcoin's next major move will likely depend on geopolitical developments, investor confidence, and broader macroeconomic conditions.
