U.S. Mid-term Election Series: Democrats doing very well in House; Republicans dominate Senate

American politics is ready to dive into another 2-years of chaos as the country remains divided over its forward direction. A divided country is voting democrats in the House of Representatives and Republicans in the Senate creating a new set of a deadlock.

  • So far, in the Senate, Republicans have flipped net +3 Democratic Seats in the Senate. They already had 51 seats.
  • In the House of Representatives, the Democrats have already flipped 24 seats and now leading in the House with 178 seats to Republican’s 168.
  • The Democrats have flipped 4 Governor Seats so far but that is much lower than 33 expected.
