Ukraine’s General Staff put Russia’s estimated military personnel losses at 1,567,160 through Oct. 19, a cumulative figure reflecting more than four years of fighting since the invasion began.

Ukraine also reported Russian losses of 1,636 operational-tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles and 24 artillery systems on Oct. 18. Its cumulative estimates as of Oct. 19 stood at 569,994 of those unmanned aerial vehicles and 51,317 artillery systems.

The ministry’s equipment tally also listed 12,416 tanks, 25,565 armored fighting vehicles and 1,714 air-defense assets lost since the invasion began. It listed 164,578 vehicles and fuel tanks.

The ministry described the figures as estimates and said the data are being updated. Its release does not specify how many of the reported personnel losses were killed or wounded.
