Ukraine’s General Staff said its forces struck four Russian military facilities on Oct. 21 and overnight into Oct. 22, including an electronic warfare station whose targeting it said would improve Ukraine’s ability to use drones.

The announcement identified a station near Hulevka in Russia’s Bryansk Oblast. In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, it listed a military post used for command and observation near Vyshneve, along with a drone-control facility in the Lankove area. It also reported a materiel depot struck near Zolotarivka in Luhansk Oblast.

The General Staff said attacks on electronic warfare assets would strengthen Ukraine’s ability to use unmanned systems. It said the action near Lankove would curb Russia’s capacity to launch drones against Ukrainian positions and communities along the front. The military said operations against Russian military targets would continue.

An Oct. 16 General Staff report described an earlier strike on an electronic warfare station near Novozybkov and two radar sites during operations spanning Oct. 15-16.
