Bitcoin (BTC) valued at about $133.1 million moved between unidentified wallets on Oct. 20, with 1,606 coins transferred and no named holder on either side.
Bitcoin transfers are visible on the blockchain, but a record of coins moving between addresses does not by itself identify who controls them. Neither the sending nor receiving holder was identified in this case.
The dollar amount describes the reported value of the Bitcoin moved, not a confirmed payment for it. No buyer, seller or exchange was identified, so the movement does not establish that a trade took place.
Earlier coverage of other Oct. 20 Bitcoin movements described two transfers of 2,489 BTC and 3,486 BTC between unidentified wallets. Those were separate transactions; the reported details do not link them to the 1,606-BTC movement.
A later transfer of the received Bitcoin could show its next destination, but would not by itself identify who controlled the wallets.
