Asheville, North Carolina, Sept. 15, 2017 -- The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Charles George Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), released on Friday, September 15 a solicitation in which it outlined plans to procure HVAC preventive maintenance services.
The contractor who receives the contract must provide all transportation, material hardware and parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision and technical expertise required for annual preventive maintenance for Carroll Health Care Group hospital beds at the Charles George VAMC in Asheville.
According to the solicitation, the VAMC intends to award a firm fixed-price option contract, with one base year and four option periods. The applicable NACIS code is 811219 with a size standard of $20.5 million.
The VAMC intends to award the contract to a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).
