Wendy’s announced earlier this week that it is bringing back its Summer Strawberry Chicken Salad. This is a favorite menu of customers who seek fresh fruity flavor that is also healthy.
Wendy’s chicken salad with the strawberry is something that can be compared to the restaurant's Bourbon Bacon Burger since they both offer that sweet and salty taste that amazingly has a nice blend. And now that summertime is here once again, the burger joint decided to make the Strawberry Chicken Salad available.
What to expect from the summer salad
Salads are often associated with summer since it is always full of greens, but Wendy’s Summer Strawberry Chicken Salad is more than just a mix of veggies. Customers will crave to have it again as it has most of the favorite summer ingredients, including bits of fruits and chunks of strawberries that are sweeter during the summer.
This salad was created after a series of tests to make sure its taste would be remarkable and something that customers would want to eat over and over again. Another thing that will make fans of Wendy’s love this summer salad is the unmatched freshness.
As per Foodsided, the Wendy’s Summer Strawberry Chicken Salad is really satisfying and not too heavy on the stomach. Customers can enjoy a bowl of fresh salad filled with seasonal flavors and generous chicken cubes.
The salad’s freshness inside and out
Wendy’s stated that the strawberries they use are hand-picked, and this was made even more delicious with Applewood smoked bacon crisps topped with tangy Tuscan cheese blend. The salad is topped with freshly grilled chicken, praline almonds and drizzled with Champagne Vinaigrette. Of course, chopped lettuce and spring greens are added to the mix as well.
"From our Jalapeño Popper Chicken Salad to our Southwest Avocado Salad and now, our new Summer Strawberry Chicken Salad, we consistently lean into on-trend ingredients to give our customers flavorful salad options they can't find anywhere else," Wendy’s US chief marketing officer, Carl Loredo, said in a press release. "Others have chosen to step away from salads, but we're going to keep being there for our customers when that fresh, summer salad craving hits."
