Nationwide, home service professionals are donating time, money and resources to building these dream homes to raise money for the patients and families of St. Jude. Once constructed, the homes are auctioned to one lucky ticket owner. Window World of Tidewater provided the product and installation of the whole house of windows, sliding glass door, entry and garage doors.
A long-standing partner for St. Jude, Window World of Tidewater has participated in the annual St. Jude Run/Walk to End Childhood Cancer for nearly ten years. In 2015, the store sponsored a Veterans Airlift Command (VAC) mission transporting a local service member and his family to St. Jude for treatment. And in 2016, store owners participated in the historic auction of Window World’s one-of-a-kind IndyCar, The Stinger, which raised over $1 million to benefit the hospital.
“It’s an honor to continue supporting this amazing organization,” said Josh Reed, Window World of Tidewater owner. “The hospital has helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent, and they won’t stop there. That’s just incredible!”
Every ticket purchased for the dream home auction helps the mission of St. Jude: Finding cures. Saving children.® Support from individual and corporate donations ensures families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
