Tencent has expanded the computing capacity behind Hy4 on its WorkBuddy service tenfold and increased the platform’s free-use quota after calls to the model rose.
High-end computing resources remain limited, and use is concentrated during peak periods. Temporary access limits may persist even after the expansion. Tencent said it will continue adjusting resources.
Tencent advised users who encounter limits to switch to Hy3 or another model, or try again during evening off-peak hours. Free access to Hy3 on WorkBuddy has been extended through Nov. 15.
Hy4’s full release on Nov. 4 added visual analysis, tool calling and computer-use functions; the model reached WorkBuddy that same day. EconoTimes previously covered Hy4’s visual and computer-use features.
