Worldline kept its 2026 targets after third-quarter fully pruned revenue rose 2.5% organically, as growth in Merchant Services offset a decline in Financial Services, which the company said remained affected by legacy contract terminations.

Fully pruned revenue was €945.5 million, compared with €922.5 million a year earlier. Published revenue was €966.6 million, up 2% organically. The published total uses a different scope; Worldline’s reconciliation includes a €21.1 million scope adjustment. Group net-net revenue, after deductions for card-scheme and partner fees, was €700.7 million, down 1% from €707.8 million.

Merchant Services revenue reached €759.2 million, a 4% organic increase. Worldline reported that Merchant Sales Value rose 3.4%, citing activity across physical and online commerce. Net-net revenue in the division was €517.1 million, compared with €516.9 million in the year-earlier quarter. Worldline said the division had not recorded a flat year-over-year result since Q2 2024.

Financial Services revenue was €186.3 million, down 3.3% organically. Excluding favorable nonrecurring revenue, the decline was 5.1%, the company said. Year-to-date bookings increased 91% in Financial Services, 20% in Global Commerce and 4% in Enterprise.

Worldline described third-quarter revenue as in line with expectations. Reuters reported that the rounded fully pruned figure of €946 million exceeded a €925 million analyst consensus compiled by Worldline. The company’s release did not reconcile the different characterizations.

The company maintained its 2026 targets on a fully pruned basis: flat to marginally positive organic revenue growth, adjusted EBITDA of €630 million to €650 million, and free cash flow between negative €60 million and negative €40 million. Worldline said 98% of its Ogone small and medium-sized business portfolio had migrated to GoPay and four platforms had closed since the start of 2026. Western European headcount was down about 4% year to date, with a goal of 500 fewer full-time equivalent employees by year-end.

Worldline expects retail customer churn to normalize in Q4 2026 after it materialized later than expected. Its next scheduled results announcement, for fiscal 2026, is Feb. 24, 2027.
