Wormhole plans to connect BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL) across platforms, while a rule limiting transfers to pre-approved investors continues to govern BUIDL shares.

Securitize handles the fund’s tokenization. Transfers can take place at any hour, but recipients must receive approval in advance.

The Oct. 9 market snapshot put BUIDL’s distributed value at $2.202 billion. Across the wider tokenized U.S. Treasury fund category, distributed value reached $14.95 billion as of that date, spanning 109 assets and 86,210 holders.

A November 2025 arrangement permits institutional and advanced traders to pledge BUIDL shares as off-exchange trading collateral on Binance.
