Amid indications that the SEC won't appeal the Ripple verdict and expectations of Bitcoin breaking past $150,000, crypto experts anticipate XRP's price could hit $2 by 2025. The combination of bullish Bitcoin momentum and regulatory clarity fuels optimism in the market.
Just two weeks remain until the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) files an appeal against Judge Torres' remedies ruling. A government agency has dropped all hints that it would not be appealing the XRP programmatic sales summary verdict. The usage of the term "crypto asset securities" in crypto cases is something it regrets and has chosen to stop doing.
SEC Signals No Appeal in Ripple Case
The XRP case has been concluded, according to Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and CLO Stuart Alderoty, although the SEC considers appealing the remedies finding. Although a cross-appeal is more probable, they do not plan to appeal initially.
On top of that, the agency's loss against Ripple in the Second Circuit Court will set a precedent that other courts are bound to follow. As a result, the SEC will be less likely to file an appeal in the Ripple case unless fresh information becomes available. Because of this, the price of XRP will rise.
Bitcoin Poised for Major Gains
The average price of Bitcoin is expected to rise to $100,000 to $150,000 throughout this cycle, according to Wall Street titans, analysts, and financial experts. The US Federal Reserve slashed interest rates by 50 basis points, marking the beginning of the second wave of the bull market.
Bitcoin's price reached $62,814 this week, an increase of roughly 10% from last week. The low point is $62,630, and the high point is $64,119 for the past 24 hours. Another indicator of traders' disinterest is the 21% drop in trading volume over the past 24 hours. The most recent upturn in Bitcoin prices was, as anticipated by CoinGape Media, a bull trap.
XRP Price Forecast Amid Bull Market
Nevertheless, a breakthrough from the cup-and-handle formation that is developing on the Bitcoin price chart might lead to a tremendous bullish rise. Bitcoin, however, must first consolidate and break above $67K before it can climb to $100,000.
In October, renowned cryptocurrency analyst CredibleCrypto expects the price of XRP to surge 25%, reaching $0.75. Nevertheless, prior to returning to the range and advancing upwards, the price must first break below its lowest point.
XRP Price Could Reach $2 by 2025
In a traditionally optimistic fourth quarter for the cryptocurrency market, a surge to $1 will be encouraged. With the upcoming elections and the Ripple vs. SEC litigation out of the picture, traders will be in a better mood. Based on supply and demand dynamics during the bull run, we expect the XRP price will reach $2 in 2025.
