XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have experienced their weakest weekly performance in more than three months, signaling a potential shift in investor sentiment amid heightened cryptocurrency market volatility. The latest XRP ETF outflows have raised concerns about weakening institutional demand as XRP struggles to maintain price stability.

According to data from SoSoValue, XRP ETFs recorded net outflows exceeding $1.84 million over the past week, marking their first weekly negative flow since July 7, 2026. The development comes as the broader cryptocurrency market faces renewed selling pressure, prompting investors to reassess their exposure to digital assets.

The reversal is particularly significant because XRP investment funds had previously maintained an impressive streak of 13 consecutive weeks of net inflows. That sustained momentum reflected consistent investor interest in XRP-related investment products, even as cryptocurrency prices experienced periodic fluctuations.

However, the latest withdrawal suggests that market participants may be adopting a more cautious approach. Although the outflow remains relatively modest, the interruption of the prolonged inflow streak could indicate growing uncertainty among investors regarding XRP's near-term performance.

The decline in XRP ETF demand also coincides with renewed weakness in the cryptocurrency's market price. After briefly showing signs of recovery during the previous trading session, XRP returned to negative territory and retested the crucial $1.30 price level.

This price movement has intensified concerns about whether XRP can establish a sustainable recovery amid broader market instability. Continued selling pressure could undermine investor confidence, particularly if ETF outflows persist in the coming weeks.

Institutional investment activity remains an important indicator of cryptocurrency market sentiment. While a single week of withdrawals does not necessarily establish a lasting bearish trend, consecutive outflows could suggest reduced appetite for XRP exposure through regulated investment products.

Market analysts and traders will likely monitor upcoming XRP ETF flow data alongside price movements to determine whether the latest downturn represents temporary profit-taking or the beginning of a broader shift in investment demand.

For now, XRP faces a challenging market environment as investors assess the implications of weakening ETF inflows and persistent price volatility. The $1.30 support region and future XRP ETF inflows could play an important role in shaping the cryptocurrency's short-term outlook.
