CryptoQuant reported a seven-month high in XRP (XRP) transfers to tracked exchanges over 30 days, a measure of token movement that does not establish whether holders sold. Cointelegraph placed the window’s end at Oct. 19.

CryptoQuant’s QuickTake counted 6.05 billion XRP reaching tracked exchanges, including 2.46 billion for Binance, 580.31 million for Bybit and 557.13 million for OKX. CryptoQuant says exchange inflows can reflect liquidity, trading or transfers between wallets and exchanges; the count alone does not show that a sale occurred.
CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost put Binance’s 90-day average for large-holder XRP outflows at $49.7 million, its lowest level since October 2021. The comparable reading was $3.5 billion in February 2025. Darkfost suggested whales may be waiting for a more attractive price, contrasting the current reading with accumulation in 2022 and 2023.
