XRP price remains under pressure as the cryptocurrency struggles to recover from a steep decline in early October. Trading near $1.395, XRP has fallen significantly from its late-September peak of approximately $1.66, leaving investors watching critical support and resistance levels for signs of its next move.
The cryptocurrency experienced heavy selling on October 6 and 7 before finding support around $1.32. Although buyers have since pushed XRP higher, the recovery has lacked momentum, suggesting that bearish sentiment continues to dominate the market.
XRP currently trades slightly below its 50-day moving average near $1.40, a key technical indicator that could determine its short-term direction. Meanwhile, the longer-term moving average around $1.34 provides another important support level that has previously attracted buying interest.
Recent trading sessions have also recorded relatively low volume, indicating limited investor confidence in the ongoing rebound. Without stronger buying activity, XRP could struggle to sustain its recovery.
Immediate support stands at $1.35, followed by the recent low of $1.32. If selling pressure intensifies and XRP breaks below these levels, the cryptocurrency could decline toward $1.25, an important price zone associated with the beginning of its August rally.
On the upside, XRP faces initial resistance at $1.45, with another significant barrier around $1.50. Sellers previously defended the $1.50 region twice during late September and early October, making it a crucial level for bullish traders.
A decisive daily close above $1.45, accompanied by increasing trading volume, could strengthen XRP's recovery prospects. Such a breakout may encourage buyers to target $1.50, while sustained momentum beyond that level could open the door to $1.60.
However, the bullish scenario depends on XRP maintaining support above $1.35 during potential pullbacks. A daily close below this threshold would weaken the recovery and increase the likelihood of another test of $1.32.
A breakdown beneath $1.32 could accelerate losses toward $1.25. Falling below that level would further undermine the bullish structure established during the summer.
For now, XRP's price outlook remains cautious, with traders monitoring trading volume, moving averages, and key technical levels to determine whether the cryptocurrency can regain momentum or face another bearish breakdown.
