The snapshot listed a 2.11% increase over one hour and a separate 3.38% rise over 24 hours. Its market-capitalization estimate was about $85.74 billion, a figure that placed XRP behind four larger crypto assets. The tally showed no long-position liquidations in the same period.
The percentage readings compare separate periods, while the liquidation totals cover positions closed on three exchanges. A liquidation automatically closes a trading position, so the tally measures those closures rather than all trading in the spot market.
An earlier EconoTimes snapshot from Oct. 20 showed a Binance price of $1.33 and $850,000 in short liquidations over a different hour. The two readings cover separate periods.
