CoinGecko and exchange spot data put XRP (XRP) at $1.32 at 10:40 a.m. ET (14:40 UTC) Tuesday, up 1.85% over 24 hours as of 14:40 UTC, as chart readings diverged around $1.25.

Crypto analyst Ali Martinez marked a TD Sequential reading as a buy signal on his three-day XRP chart. The chart tied $1.40 to XRP staying above $1.25 and $0.98 to a move below that level. Martinez said three earlier similar readings came before gains of 31%, 24% and 18%.

Crypto analyst ChartNerd’s Oct. 19 chart placed the 20-day exponential moving average below the 50-day average, a bearish crossover. ChartNerd cited a similar crossover from May through August that overlapped with XRP’s roughly 30% slide from about $1.40 to below $1. That earlier stretch offers no dependable guide to the latest crossover.

The charts use different periods: Martinez’s reading uses three-day candles, while ChartNerd tracks the 20-day and 50-day averages. In an Oct. 18 analysis, Martinez made a possible $2 scenario contingent on XRP holding $1.25 and recording a sustained close above $1.56, as covered in earlier reporting on his chart setup.
