WAKEFIELD, Mass., Sept. 06, 2016 -- Xura, Inc., a leading provider of digital communications services, today announced the appointment of Charles Marsh as Managing Director for its Americas operations, which includes its North and Latin American businesses. With almost 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Marsh will play a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s presence in the region, building relationships with customers and driving new commercial growth opportunities. Based in Xura’s office in Plano, Texas, Marsh will report directly to Xura’s Chief Executive Officer, Philippe Tartavull, and will also sit on Xura’s Executive Committee.

Marsh joins Xura from Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), where he led the Enterprise sales group for the Americas. Prior to HPE, Charles spent 28 years at Alcatel-Lucent (ALU), most recently as President of Americas Sales, managing the order and sales processes across all its accounts in the United States, Canada and Latin America. While at ALU, Charles also held the positions of Vice President, North American Sales, and Vice President of Sprint and tier 2/3 telcos.
