WAKEFIELD, Mass., Sept. 14, 2016 -- Xura, Inc., a leading provider of digital communications services, today announced the appointment of Ronald J. de Lange to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.
With a wealth of experience and more than 36 years in the telecommunications industry, Ronald served as President and CEO of Tekelec, Inc., a leading global networking software company focused on enabling people and devices to talk, text, and access the internet globally. Ronald held this position from 2011 to 2013, where he was instrumental in executing on the company’s strategic growth plans and enabling next-generation service provider initiatives.

Prior to becoming President and CEO of Tekelec, Ronald served as Executive Vice President of Tekelec’s Global Product Solutions group and is a 24-year veteran of Lucent Technologies, where he held a number of leadership roles. Since 2014, Ronald has been a professional investor engaged in financing early stage technology companies and managing other business interests. Ronald currently serves as Chairman of the Board at Radisys Corporation, a high performance software and integrated systems company focused on helping communications service providers maximize, virtualize and monetize their networks.
