Zcash (ZEC) traded at $1,171 on Binance at 12:45 p.m. ET (16:45 UTC) Friday, Oct. 16, with the displayed four-hour move showing a steeper fall than the separate 24-hour measure.
Binance's ZEC/Tether (USDT) spot pair was quoted at $1,228 four hours before the later reading. The $57 difference equals a 4.64% decline based on those displayed prices. ZEC was down 1.48% over the preceding 24 hours.
An earlier Friday Binance snapshot put ZEC at $1,238 at 1:05 a.m. ET (05:05 UTC).
At the 1:25 p.m. ET Friday snapshot, Binance priced NEAR at $4.94; a separate hourly tally showed $760,000 in long liquidations and $10,000 in short liquidations.
No venue or timestamp accompanied the price; two Oct. 17 daily-low records show higher figures but do not prove the quote was inaccurate.
